Some Copyright Protection agencies even run honeypot tracker so that they can track down torrent downloaders. Note that, most of the Public trackers can be used like this to hunt down torrent downloader or uploader. Hollywood studios employ special torrent hunting team of professionals who normally can run uTorrent app and after it get connected with other peers it can easily note down the IP addresses. Now, there are some controversy running regarding tracker. When the torrent client finds the all these information from the torrent tracker then a direct connection is made among all of the peers.Īs you can see, a torrent tracker knows your IP address and port. Tracker then accepts the request and it tries to find the other user who also showed their interest by either seeding the torrent or currently downloading the torrent. Now the job of a tracker is to find who are interested in downloading the particular torrent file and when any user wants to download a torrent file, the torrent client then sends this request to one of the trackers and asks the tracker to register this user’s IP and port. Suppose, there are 900 seeders seeding a torrent and 800 leechers are downloading the torrent. it simply uses these torrent trackers to find the peers. torrent file on your torrent client like uTorrent, Vuze, Bittorrent, qTorrent etc. Torrent works by creating a small chunk of the file and sharing and distributing this file among the “ swarm “. So how users find each other? Using trackers, simple. As you already know, Extratorrent was shut down recently so you may need extratorrent alternative sites and here are some more public and private tracker site.Ī torrent tracker is a server that tracks torrent users and keeps the information such as the number of seeders and leechers, the torrent filesize and number of downloads. If you want the working list of torrent trackers then move forward and follow our Torrent tracker guide. Torrent tracker list is useful for this case because you can give a list to the torrent client software and increase the download speed of uTorrent because the more tracker it has the more direct connections and the higher is the speed. Torrent Tracker are used to help finding the peers and making a direct connection to each other so that Peer to Peer Torrenting can take place.

Phoenix liveview alpine js12/11/2023 I had just quit my job at Tighten, to go on “sabbatical”, I was just kind of going to go find myself for a few months and go get another job. This is the third year that I’ve done this.Īnd the first year, I think I started Livewire on day one or two of this Florida trip. So, for a few years now I’ve spent the winter in Florida, which is the southernmost tropical part of the US (I’m from Buffalo, New York, where it’s like 15 degrees fahrenheit). Now let’s talk more about Livewire how and when did the idea for Livewire come to you? What was the initial inspiration or vision for it? I think it was my first real conference, and everybody was talking about Twitter and asking me what my handle was, and I didn’t even have a Twitter handle at the time, or at least I wasn’t using it.Īnd that’s what changed for me, engaging in the Twitter community is how I got involved and it was kind of what spurred me on to engage and then naturally build stuff, and then it just snowballed after that.ģ. We went together with a friend, and it was a huge deal for us. I was really into Laravel and Laracasts, using it at my job and everything, but never really interacting until I went to my first Laracon. And the rest is history - that was in 2012 or 2013 or so, with Laravel 4.0, and I basically never stopped since then.Īs for your other question, it actually probably took me a little bit of time to get involved in the community. I remember starting a new project for a client and googling “what’s the best PHP framework” - I knew and liked CodeIgniter, but I just wanted to check and see what’s out there.Īnd a lot of people on StackOverflow were recommending Laravel so I checked out the site and it said “a framework for web artisans”, I think, and I was like, ooh, I’ll take that. Maybe it’s not so common anymore because it’s been so long, but there used to be stories of all these CodeIgniter developers coming over to Laravel. PHP was my first real programming language I’d done some vanilla PHP, and then Yee, and then I kind of landed on CodeIgniter for a while. How and when did you first discover Laravel? What drew you to it? It’s a podcast we started with a friend when we were both at Tighten, initially called Twenty Percent Time, and then we changed the name when we left Tighten.Ģ. I worked at Tighten for a while, and then ever since I guess I’m the Livewire guy, and the No Plans To Merge guy. So at one point that was my claim to fame. I forget which ones were mine, str between maybe was mine, things like that, and so Taylor called me “the string king”. My role in the Laravel community has changed over time I think at one point it was just random new guy fanboying on all the top dogs and listening to all the podcasts, and then at some point it became “the string king” which is a weird one, but I had made a few pull requests to Laravel for string helpers. First tell us a little about yourself - what’s your role in the Laravel community and what do you do professionally? Read on to find out more about the origins of these two projects, how they’re evolving, and what other projects and trends in web development Caleb is excited about.ġ. We had the great pleasure of speaking with Caleb Porzio, the creator of Livewire and Alpine.js which are both rapidly growing in popularity. Agiledrop is highlighting active members of different open-source communities through interviews focusing on their projects and initiatives, as well as trends and innovations in the digital sphere.

Unik leather saddle bags12/11/2023 Consider your budget when deciding which bags to buy. Some bags have removable dividers to give you complete freedom in how you use your bags. These extra pockets can keep smaller items more accessible and prevent them from getting lost in the bottom of the bag. Some have one large compartment, while others have several smaller pockets or dividers. You find more unique shaping details, several additional pockets, compartments, and reinforced stitching.

Tokina for canon frame12/11/2023 I believe the tokina works only at the long end - 16mm - on fx nikon. That, in my opinion, means the Canon 10-22, unless you want to shoot night sky landscapes - then the f/2.8 maximum aperture of the Tokina is better. Get lenses that will be best for you in the present, for what you shoot now and what gear you already have. Like an optical shoehorn, a wide-angle lens helps you squeeze more into the picture. There is also an extremely rugged, "professional-grade" body with an APS sensor in the 7D Mark II, so you need not worry about the quality of the bodies themselves, either. of 2: Best wide-angle prime lenses for Canon DSLRs. APS is very capable, and more than enough for pretty much anything. That being said, you should only worry about the present here, unless there's a specific reason for you to need a 35mm camera. It isn't made to work on full frame cameras, but it seems like, if you can mount it on one (meaning, if it's an EF lens), it could work pretty well. I don't know if the Tokina is an EF or EF-S lens, though. I also read somewhere about someone using the Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 on a Nikon full frame camera, and getting surprisingly good results when not using the extremes of the focal length range. I read somewhere that the Sigma 30mm f/1.4 is like that in a certain range of f-numbers. Frame Canon EOS R Pro Fujifilm X Fujifilm GFX PRO Nikon Z DX APS-C Nikon Z. While most of these lenses don't cover the entire sensor area - leaving huge vignetting on images, and even a complete black circle all around - some lenses, in a specific range of settings (aperture and focal length), do cast an image circle that's big enough. That is probably done for financial reasons, but it has a special bonus for users: those lenses can be mounted on all Canon DSLR cameras, including the 35mm ( full frame) models. Oftentimes, third-party lens manufacturers "cheat" by making their APS-only lenses in EF mount. See our full Tokina Firin 20mm f2 AF review. Overall the Firin is a fine lens, although its viewing angle can feel a little restrictive for astrophotography. Lensa Tokina ATX 11-16mm F2.8 PRO DX II For Canon - Hitam. There’s remarkably little colour fringing, even at the extreme corners of the frame, and distortion is practically non-existent. opera new series of next generation premium full-frame lenses for high-end DSLR cameras aims to canalize the photographers creativity into real 'works of art'. Tokina official pages on Facebook, YouTube and Instragram. Can be used with an adapter no EOS-M cameras. EF-S: Made to cover an APS sensor, and can't even be mounted on a 35mm DSLR camera (without modifications, that most likely void the warranty). frame format maximum aperture: f/1.8 optimized lens coatings STM AF.Also usable on APS DSLRs, and can be used on EOS-M cameras with an adapter. Signal messenger windows12/11/2023 Even the competing WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, and Skype use the Signal Protocol for secure communication. In many ways, it was thanks to Signal that end-to-end encryption became so widely used in messaging apps. Using end-to-end encryption is an important way to improve messaging security. That means only the parties chatting with one another can read their texts, and nobody - not even the app’s developers - can listen in on individual or group calls. One of Signal’s indisputable advantages is its default use of end-to-end encryption. End-to-end encryption - a pillar of privacy Signal featuresįeatures available to all Signal users include end-to-end encryption, secure data storage, and the ability to view Signal’s code. Here’s what they have achieved and how to make Signal even more secure. However, cybersecurity experts have known about Signal for a long time, and that’s no wonder developers have spent years polishing the app’s privacy and security. Following Elon Musk’s laconic call to use Signal, millions of users downloaded the app, resulting in temporary technical issues with the service. Just think about it, you can easily reach anyone with an email address without the other party having to sign up or install any software beforehand, so no convincing to move to a new service involved, with the other side hopefully getting interested and starting to use that system after the fact. The Signal messaging app leapt in popularity in January 2021, when WhatsApp changed its privacy policy. It really is a fascinating concept and totally reminds on how WhatsApp became that successful (by using existing mobile phone numbers instead of regular signups). The main benefits I see over XMPP is that you don't need to run your own XMPP instance or have to sign up at and trust a 3rd party server, and that you can reach anyone with an email address, even if the other side is not using Delta Chat, in which case the other party simply can participate using his/her usual email client (only then communication is unencrypted, unless that email client supports Autocrypt or manual OpenPGP setup). The whole system is a proven concept and it's obviously working very well. Delta chat may be good as an alternate way of messaging, but using the same system means it uses an indirect federated network, unless there's a difference in implementation.ĭelta Chat is not a newcomer, implements the Autocrypt Level 1 standard and can thus E2E-encrypt messages with other Autocrypt-capable apps, and also supports a strong form of end-to-end encryption that is even safe against active attacks (see “verified groups” and more info in the FAQ). There's some data that only the servers can write to, or overwrite for sending, so that the client can't spoof it to the other end.Īn indirect federated network has something like that, plus a lot of other pass through connections, which is what email is. Sometimes the servers are the same, and the connection manager is usually on the same physical location as the server. If Bosh or Webproxy is used, it goes: a connection manager is added between a server and client on one or both ends. Provided the two servers are trustworthy, these two servers make a direct connection, preventing sources of spoofing or tampering between them.Ī direct federated network makes direct connections: from client, to server, to server, to client. The servers have to be known as trusted, and the clients can't spoof to their host server, unless the device (such as a user's phone) is physically stolen or a password is stolen. There's only two or 1 servers on this kind of network (there can be only 2 more connection points if a BOSH or Websockets proxy is used). That's unless the whole communication is encrypted and/or tunneled from multiple prying servers/connection points. This design isn't secure on its own as any server point on that connection can be corrupt, as in tampered or spoofed. Click to expand.Email uses an indirect federated network, meaning the communication passes through a number of servers.

Tic tic boom review12/11/2023 Not only does, Miranda capture one’s love for movie musicals, this is one stage production that was adapted to screen by Steven Levenson in an imaginative way that didn’t feel static like the rest. Even though the execution of a story within a story was a bit jumbled in the first half, once he finds his footing, it’s a beautiful, emotional, rollercoaster of inspiration and creativity. For this to be Lin-Manuel Miranda’s directorial feature debut, it was quite impressive. A movie you didn’t know you needed in your life, yet it still made an impact. It’s hard to even put into words the feeling you get while watching Tick, Tick…Boom! I don’t think a movie musical has ever hit so close to home, it’s one of those films that you are comforted by given your current state of mind. Well, Jonathan Larson managed to put all this stress and anxiety about turning 30 into a song, better yet, he wrote about how life changes and how time is all we have. You may see 30 as a make or break year, that when you reach it, and you don’t have all those boxes checked, that you’re somehow a failure. So when you start creeping into your late 20s, you somehow feel like you haven’t accomplished anything and that your life is pretty much over. Society has conditioned all of us to believe that there is only one right path in life, and that is to have a stable full-time job and raising a family by the age of 30. As someone who is approaching 30, otherwise known as the deadline age, this made me incredibly emotional. If you were born in the 90s, this movie will hit differently for you. If you haven’t, Lin-Manuel Miranda’s adaptation of his musical Tick, Tick… BOOM! will make you fall in love with his creative spirit.

Adobe after effects 2022 new features12/11/2023 Pros: First, there is no comparison between Adobe After Effects with any other software when it comes to 3D effects. With After Effects, I can potentially animate anything.Ĭons: Some of the bad things that can be considered the worst of Adobe After Effects are:Steep learning curve: Due to the large number of features and tools that the program offers, it can be difficult for beginners to learn how to use it.Hardware requirements: To use Adobe After Effects effectively, you need a powerful computer with a dedicated graphics card and lots of RAM.Stability issues: Sometimes the program can be unstable and there may be problems when working on larger projects.Cost: Adobe After Effects is part of the Adobe Creative Cloud suite of programs, which means there is a monthly or yearly subscription to use it, which can be expensive for some users.Complex interface – Although customizable, the user interface can be complex and overwhelming for some users, especially beginners.Difficulty editing audio: Although Adobe After Effects offers some tools for editing audio, it's not its specialty and can be difficult to use for those who need more advanced audio editing tools.Need for plugins: Some effects and advanced features require third-party plugins, which can increase the cost and complexity of the program. Precise visual effects integration like chroma-keying, and motion tracking make the process even more enthusiastic.- It also supports a wide range of extensive effects and plugins which provide extra flexibility and allow me to enhance my projects with particle animations, special effects, color grading, and more.- It seamlessly integrates with other Adobe products like Premier Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator when I need to create GIFs or any other form of vector animation. Visual effects and compositing that allow me to easily combine multiple elements such as 3D renders, raw footage, and visual effects seamlessly. It provides a powerful timeline-based interface for precise control over animation timing and movement.- 3D integration which enables me to import and easily manipulate 3D models, and apply lighting and camera effects to create more realistic 3D environments. Pros: I sued After Effects for creating visual effects, motion graphics, and animation.- It enables me to create advanced motion graphics and animations using keyframes, expressions, and effects. a classic case of en****ification- when it came time to make money, all development and new features ceased, and now the great new feature of this version is colored outlines on keyframes. sadly, adobe has threatened users who use that version, and disallow use of any version except the newest, buggiest, slowest versions. absolute trash tier, because that's what you get when you take a program that only works on one core, then duplicate it to every core in an attempt to make it faster, while forgetting the UI shares a rendering core, so the UI now stutters and lags uncontrollably at anything above 2K footage (even phones these days can make 4K footage)TL DR- every version is worse, post 2013, minus a single version in late 2014/early 2015, where the devs implemented many performance hacks. it stores all previews uncompressed in RAM, so if you're editing 4k footage, 64 gigs of RAM will get you 2-5 seconds of playback at 10fps. Now there are over 470 addons in this bloated mess, they hacked in multithreading, then removed it, then added it back worse 5 years later and acted like it was the first time, same with MP4 export, they advertise GPU usage, like it's special, but it has all of 5 effects that use the GPU.now, it can't even playback 1080p video reliably. it's like seeing an old friend with dementia. for the "best value" offered (that same value used to be a perpetual license, which they revoked)Ĭons: this poor, poor thing. it's a shameless upsell, where the programs are now so expensive, it costs your team a month or more of profits every year. let's say you just need photo editing, video editing, and visual effects? that's 1300 a month. but to that I say, all their programs are 1000 yearly, as a bundle. they say "we're just a small team, we can't refactor the codebase or make a new program" meanwhile their company is raking in 15 billion a year. which is just as insulting, because if the moment I threaten to stop using it, they give me a better price, means they're intentionally price-gouging. They raised prices on my 3 years in a row after going subscription, from 200 a month, to 400, and now 600 a month. Overall: buggier every year, you are legally not allowed to use old versions, and having adobe threaten you with litigation for using a version you have a license for.
